The Answer May Be Found In The Book Of Job.

The answer to my question and dilemma was answered through "the book." I'll make it very short...

I had suffered "happenings" that denied laws of physics, laws of average, laws of common sense... as a matter of fact, when people watched the circumstances unfold, they couldn't believe it. Only a few knew about my situation but those few were amazed! Some were simply convinced, like Job's three friends, that I had become a "loser" and my sins against God must have been tremendous! It was true that I had lived a decade of sin... But... I had repented (stopped) and was seeking the reinstatement of my relationship with God and His spiritual family. The more I tried and the more I pleaded, through prayer... the more I was spanked! Even inanimate objects were energized against me! FACT! Tree limbs which fell, for no reason, other than to destroy me or my property... long story and that is not the purpose of this page.

I kept reading the Book of Job and each time I would learn something. This went on for years. Then one day, when I thought I could not go another day... HE TOLD ME TO GO TO THE BOOK OF JOB... I fussed, I cried out to Him that it was futile and I was tired of being sent to "that book." After my tantrum, I went to the book and found the answer! The answer for which I had been looking for years, jumped right off the page and I knew! Finally! Since that day my spiritual road has been smoother. Still bumpy (enough) but I understood. I knew that God was in control! Believe it or not, it made a big difference.

I could tell you where the answer was, for me, but that could be too easy! He made me go through "hell" and because He allowed me to suffer the trials, I learned the lessons... I learned those lessons through suffering... from the "Host of Hell" ... just as Job learned his final lesson only by the horrible suffering that Satan imposed, which was allowed by God. Satan thought he was winning but in the end, Satan lost and Job won. I kept wondering when Satan realized he had lost?

My "game" is still ongoing... I think I'm somewhere in the (late) fourth quarter but my defense is playing well and my offense is "keying" on scoring in the spiritual realm and less in the material realm... that is an important part of the game strategy! The Master of my game is of a spiritual nature... I guess you could say HE invented the game! If you are not ready for the truth, then it may not jump off the page for you. It was "the" answer that I needed... I hope you are successful!

Back to "The Book of Job"

The Lord has instructed me to "lift up" this masterpiece for "modern man." It should help a lot of people understand why things happen as they do. Many times there are reasons... reasons that may be understood after the Book of Job is understood.

Most every person and especially those who are of a spiritual nature, question "why?" Bad luck, unfair circumstances or undeserved horrors come to good people... "WHY?"

Understanding "JOB" may answer the question.

This book describes the oldest recorded conspiracy. A conspiracy that Satan proposed to God. You see, Satan suggested that God's most trusted servant would renounce God if God did not continue to bless him with riches. God allowed the conspiracy to go forward...

Many people will be amazed to see how much our daily lives are influenced by the spiritual kingdom! Bible believers will especially be delighted! Those who doubt the scriptures will probably continue to "discount" the validity of the bible but that is a biased opinion by people who won't accept the truth under any circumstances. These "doubters" are welcome to my site but it is far too good for them :) :) (gotcha)

Many interesting secrets of the bible are exposed in this fine work. For example; Satan was allowed to frequent God's Kingdom! How many people know that?

I will attempt to point out the brilliance and facts of this divine instrument. Hope I can come close to doing it justice. I first thought I could "knock it out" in a few days... I have learned that it will be a little more time consuming than originally thought. Perhaps the parts that I have unfolded as I go will help a little until I can lay down my entire accounting... or... perhaps you will pick up the ball and run?

Chapter One:

There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil.

The scriptures go on to tell us that Job had seven sons and three daughters. He was rich! Job owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels and five hundred yoke of oxen! Five hundred female donkeys and a very great household! Job was the richest man of the "East."

His sons threw wild birthday parties and always invited the three sisters to join in the festivities. All ten children were party lovers. The parties lasted for days! Job was concerned that his children had sinned against God during their parties... he was careful to make sacrifices for their sins..... Vs 4 & 5: Job’s sons would take turns preparing feasts in their homes, and they would also invite their three sisters to celebrate with them. When these celebrations ended—sometimes after several days—Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself, “Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

Satan came to see God...

6. One day the members of the heavenly court came to present themselves before the Lord, and the Accuser, Satan came with them. “Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” Then the Lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.” Satan replied to the Lord, “Yes, but Job has good reason to fear God. You have always put a wall of protection around him and his home and his property. You have made him prosper in everything he does. Look how rich he is! But reach out and take away everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face!” “All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.

The horrors of the test begin.... Job loses his kids and wealth. The rules of the conspiracy were such that SATAN could not harm him physically... And you thought you had a bad day!

13. One day when Job’s sons and daughters were feasting at the oldest brother’s house, a messenger arrived at Job’s home with this news: “Your oxen were plowing, with the donkeys feeding beside them, when the Sabeans raided us. They stole all the animals and killed all the farmhands. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” 16. While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “The fire of God has fallen from heaven and burned up your sheep and all the shepherds. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” 17. While he was still speaking, a third messenger arrived with this news: “Three bands of Chaldean raiders have stolen your camels and killed your servants. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” 18. While he was still speaking, another messenger arrived with this news: “Your sons and daughters were feasting in their oldest brother’s home. Suddenly, a powerful wind swept in from the wilderness and hit the house on all sides. The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. I am the only one who escaped to tell you.” 20. Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved his head and fell to the ground to worship. 21. He said, “I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what I had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord” 22. In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.

Through all of this Job did not renounce God! He remained faithful!

Chapter Two:

1 One day the members of the heavenly court came again to present themselves before the Lord, and the Accuser, Satan, came with them. 2 “Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan.... Satan answered the Lord, “I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.” 3 Then the Lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil. And he has maintained his integrity, even though you urged me to harm him without cause.” 4 Satan replied to the Lord, “Skin for skin! A man will give up everything he has to save his life. 5 But reach out and take away his health, and he will surely curse you to your face!” 6 “All right, do with him as you please,” the Lord said to Satan. “But spare his life.”

So, the beginning of another conspiracy. This would be the second "known" conspiracy ever recorded. Satan conspired with God. God allowed Satan to try to "break" Job! However, God laid down the rules... Satan could not kill him. (Is this beginning to raise any flags?) Job didn't know what was going on? He had lost every thing! Now his health is going to be destroyed.... ouch!

7 So Satan left the Lord’s presence, and he struck Job with terrible boils from head to foot. 8 Job scraped his skin with a piece of broken pottery as he sat among the ashes. 9 His wife said to him, “Are you still trying to maintain your integrity? Curse God and die.” 10 But Job replied, “You talk like a foolish woman. Should we accept only good things from the hand of God and never anything bad?” So in all this, Job said nothing wrong.

Job's friends came to see him:

11 When three of Job’s friends heard of the tragedy he had suffered, they got together and traveled from their homes to comfort and console him. Their names were Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. 12 When they saw Job from a distance, they scarcely recognized him. Wailing loudly, they tore their robes and threw dust into the air over their heads to show their grief. 13 Then they sat on the ground with him for seven days and nights. No one said a word to Job, for they saw that his suffering was too great for words.

Through all of this, Job Remained Faithful!

Job Begins to address his friends...

Chapters 3 through 31... Job curses the day he was born... Job's (three) friends begin to point out to Job how evil he must be for God to allow such horrors.

Chapter 32: A young man appears, that, to this point, has not been heard from... His name is Elihu and he begins to address the older men and Job as well. WOW! Pay attention! Elihu gets to the point and doesn't pull any punches! Finally in chapter 36 Elihu tells Job (and me) the reason "WHY?" That was several years ago and at this very moment, as I type this, I am thanking God for revealing to me "WHY?"

There are 42 chapters in "JOB" and they are a treasure! Read the Book of Job! Study the book. It may come to mean as much to you as it has for me.
