| According
to evangelists and preachers who are preaching
for cash they will lead you to believe it is an
easy thing to achieve your place in the Kingdom.
I hope this will help you to better understand.
They lay claim to the falsehood that HE has
already paid for your sins - all you have to do
is "write the check" and utter a simple
"lip" prayer. The purveyors of
God's word tell you it is free!
Yes -
it's free if
you repent and ask His forgiveness... with the
willingness and intent to commit to a new
covenant in which you will pray, study, worship,
live the doctrine and as Jesus said, "WORK
HARD TO GET IN." In other words; will you
change your lifestyle and serve Him in heart,
mind and actions? Are you at least willing to
take the first step? The first step is free and
it will (probably) never cost you any money but
it requires a willingness to be a "new
creature." If you are sincere, it will
(probably) be easy to make the commitment.

| 1)
Jesus' death and sacrifice made it possible for
you to accept HIM as your
Savior and escape the second
death or hell. However, HE plainly taught that if
you
are HIS, you will live according to HIS Father's
will and live the doctrine that Jesus taught us.
Therefore, acceptance of Jesus is the first step
- then you must LIVE the doctrine. When you are
saved or born again, you will feel it it in your
heart and spirit! You will be a new creature and
you will be able to tell a difference! You will
have a different mind-set, a warmer heart, a
kinder nature, a desire to honor God and His Son
through a clean lifestyle. You will want to tell
others about it! You will want to witness to
others. It will be heartfelt.
Matthew
7:21 "Not all people
who sound religious are really godly. They may
refer to me as `Lord,' but they still won't enter
the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is
whether they obey my Father in heaven.
Matthew
12:50 "Anyone who does
the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and
sister and mother!"
John
14:15 "If you love me,
obey my commandments."

| 3) "Once Saved
Always Saved" is not a doctrine that is
scripturally based. It is a "feel good"
doctrine that will fail you. HE can
erase your name from the Book of Life. (Revelation
3:5) (Below) They base this
by using the comparison of the physical birth of
a child to a human parent... "If you are
born to a human you will always be the child of
that parent no matter how bad you are or how many
sins you commit - therefore, when you are saved
you are always the saved son or daughter of
God." More new age teachings... comparing
the spiritual with the physical, evil, human.
Jesus
said, "Work hard to enter the Kingdom for
many will knock but few will enter." (paraphrased as
usual)
Luke
13:22 Jesus went through the
towns and villages, teaching as he went, always
pressing on toward Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked
him, "Lord,
will only a few be saved?"
He replied, 24 "The door to heaven is
narrow. Work hard to
get in, because many will try to enter,
25 but when the head of the house has locked the
door, it will be too late. Then you will stand
outside knocking and pleading, `Lord, open the
door for us!' But he will reply, `I do not know
you.' 26 You will say, `But we ate and drank with
you, and you taught in our streets.' 27And he
will reply, `I tell you, I don't know you. Go
away, all you who do evil.'
Revelation
3:5 He who overcomes will be
arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot
his name out of the book of life,
and I will confess his name before my Father, and
before his angels.
"Blot
his name out of the book of life"... Does
that sound like you're guaranteed heaven if you
fall?)

4) While there
is truth in these points and doctrines they are
half truths. Learn the whole story. It is Satan's
favorite method... Give'em 90% truth and bury the
lie in the 10% - that will take them down. Jesus
spent a lot of time telling us about the
deceivers... If you believe that churches and
denominations are automatically approved by The
Lord, you'll have a lot of company awaiting the
second death - hell. As far as I can tell - most
- if not ALL TV preachers teach a
new-age-tainted-doctrine and a
"materialistic" Jesus... and... most of
the churches in a neighborhood near you... as
well. Be careful and study on your own!
"Work Hard" Jesus said it!
Your
Friend,
John
