|Jesus' Death On The Cross -
Calvary - What Did It Do For You?
|NOTHING! IF YOU DON'T REPENT
AND LIVE HIS DOCTRINE!
|Is It Being Taught
to evangelists and preachers who are preaching
for cash they will lead you to believe it is an
easy thing to achieve your place in the Kingdom.
I hope this will help you to better understand.
They teach that HE has already paid for your sins
- all you have to do is "write the
check" and utter a simple "lip"
The purveyors of
God's word tell you it is free! They fail to tell
you that it must be from your heart and a very
noticeable experience must change you, your heart
and you must become a new creature!
- it's free if
you repent and ask His forgiveness... with the
willingness and intent to commit to a new
covenant in which you will pray, study, worship,
live the doctrine and as Jesus said, "WORK
HARD TO GET IN." In other words; will you
change your lifestyle and serve Him in heart,
mind and actions? Are you at least willing to
take the first step? The first step is free and
it will (probably) never cost you any money but
it requires a willingness to be a "new
creature." If you are sincere, it will
(probably) be easy to make the commitment.
How many times do you hear it preached that
Jesus' death on the cross paid for all your sins?
They would lead you to believe that all you have
to do is go through a little prayer ritual and
say with your lips that you receive Jesus as your
Savior and you are heaven bound!
How many times do you hear preachers teaching
that all you have to do to be born-again or saved
is to say the "Sinner's Prayer?" One of
my favorite TV preachers teaches this.
How many times do you hear certain denominations
teach that, "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED?"
How many of you know that these are half truths
and will cause many to fail?
One At A Time...
Jesus' death and sacrifice made it possible for
you to accept HIM as your
Savior and escape the second
death or hell. However, HE plainly taught that if
you are HIS, you will live
according to HIS Father's will and live the
doctrine that Jesus taught us. Therefore,
acceptance of Jesus is the first step - then you
must LIVE the doctrine.
you are saved or born again, you will feel it it
in your heart and spirit! You will be a new
creature and you will be able to tell a
difference! You will have a different mind-set, a
warmer heart, a kinder nature, a desire to honor
God and His Son through a clean lifestyle. You
will want to tell others about it! You will want
to witness to others. It will be heartfelt.
7:21 "Not all people
who sound religious are really godly. They may
refer to me as `Lord,' but they still won't enter
the Kingdom of Heaven. The decisive issue is
whether they obey my Father in heaven.
12:50 "Anyone who does
the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and
sister and mother!"
14:15 "If you love me,
obey my commandments."
The "Sinner's Prayer" is the beginning
of your new spiritual encounter. Then you must truly
accept Jesus in your heart
the doctrine. The begotten, saved or born-again
experience is the beginning... You are now in the
"spriritual womb" to grow and overcome
Satan and his temptations. You will show the
results by the way you live and the fruit you
Saved Always Saved" is not a doctrine that
is scripturally based. It is a "feel
good" doctrine that will fail you. HE can
erase your name from the Book of Life.
(Revelation 3:5) (Below)
base this by using the comparison of the physical
birth of a child to a human parent... "If
you are born to a human you will always be the
child of that parent no matter how bad you are or
how many sins you commit - therefore, when you
are saved you are always the saved son or
daughter of God." More new age teachings...
comparing the spiritual with the physical.
Jesus said, "Work hard
to enter the Kingdom for many will knock but few
will enter." (paraphrased
13:22 Jesus went through the
towns and villages, teaching as he went, always
pressing on toward Jerusalem. 23 Someone asked
will only a few be saved?"
He replied, 24 "The door to heaven is
narrow. Work hard to
get in, because many will try to enter,
25 but when the head of the house has locked the
door, it will be too late. Then you will stand
outside knocking and pleading, `Lord, open the
door for us!' But he will reply, `I do not know
you.' 26 You will say, `But we ate and drank with
you, and you taught in our streets.' 27And he
will reply, `I tell you, I don't know you. Go
away, all you who do evil.'
3:5 He who overcomes will be
arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot
his name out of the book of life,
and I will confess his name before my Father, and
before his angels.
his name out of the book of life"... Does
that sound like you're guaranteed heaven if you
While there is truth in these points and
doctrines they are half truths. Learn the whole
story. It is Satan's favorite method... Give'em
90% truth and bury the lie in the 10% - that will
take them down. Jesus spent a lot of time telling
us about the deceivers... If you believe that
churches and denominations are automatically
approved by The Lord, you'll have a lot of
company awaiting the second death - hell. As far
as I can tell - most - if not ALL TV preachers
teach a new-age-tainted-doctrine and a
"materialistic" Jesus... and... most of
the churches in a neighborhood near you... as
well. Be careful and study on your own!
"Work Hard" Jesus said it!
