When
outside storms are mounted too close to
Primary Window...
1. Raise Interior Storm
Movable Panel (bottom panel) to full open
position.
2. Place finger tips under
upper frame of screen panel and push
upward until screen panel clears the
master frame and sill.
3. Push left hand of Screen
panel to the left (against the spring
pressure) until the right hand side of
screen panel can swing outward to clear
the right hand edge of the master frame.
4. With the right hand side
of the screen panel outward of the master
frame; release the pressure on the left
hand side and remove screen panel to the
outside.
Now go outside to
exterior side of the window
5. Grasp the lower and
upper edge of the glass panel and pull
downward releasing the panel from the top
of the master frame. Remove the glass
panel using the same procedures above for
removing the screen panel. #3
Now go back inside
to the interior side of window
6. With the screen panel
and upper glass panel removed, lower
interior glass to a position above the
bottom of master frame so you can grasp
both the top and bottom edge of frame.
Apply pressure to left hand side and
swing right hand side of panel inward.
Release pressure of left hand side and
remove outward the same as previous
panels.
7. When reinstalling
proceed in the opposite order to which
they were removed. IE: Interior movable
glass panel. (place into inside track)
Upper glass panel (Place in outer track
and push to full up position. Screen
Panel (Place in outer track)
Note: With the movable
interior glass panel in the lowest
position (Resting on master frame sill)
Apply pressure downward on the lower
frame of the upper glass panel to seat
the screen panel into position on the
sill of the master frame.
