1.      Release Nylon Position Lock on lower glass panel.  Pull out the recessed pull (figure 1) on each side rail.  By means of these “pulls” Push left hand of Screen panel to the left (against the spring pressure) until the right hand side of screen panel can swing outward to clear the right hand edge of the master frame.  Bring forward and remove.

2.      Push outer glass and screen panels up until the lower rail of screen panel clears the sill (approximately 1 to 2 inches).  Remove screen as instructed in NO. 1 above.

3.      Bring outer glass panel into the down position and remove as instructed in NO. 1 above.

4.      If the unit has the metal removable sill (Figure 2), depress lower end of left track slightly.  This will release sill for removal.

To Replace Panels

1.      Insert right end of metal sill.  Place left end of sill against the left track.  Depress left track slightly to allow sill to fall into position.

2.      Replace outer glass panel, pushing all the way up.

3.      Replace screen under outer glass panel and pull outer glass panel down until bottom rail of screen seats in sill.

4.      Replace inner glass panel

Alternative Method of Panel Removal

(When outside storms are mounted too close to Primary Window)

FROM INSIDE

1.     Raise Interior Storm Movable Panel (bottom panel) to full open position.

2.     Place finger tips under upper frame of screen panel and push upward until screen panel clears the master frame and sill.

3.     Push left hand of Screen panel to the left (against the spring pressure) until the right hand side of screen panel can swing outward to clear the right hand edge of the master frame.

4.     With the right hand side of the screen panel outward of the master frame; release the pressure on the left hand side and remove screen panel to the outside.

Now go Outside to Exterior Side of the Window

5.     Grasp the lower and upper edge of the top glass panel (outside track) and pull downward releasing the panel from the top of the master frame.  Remove the glass panel using the same procedures above for removing the screen panel. #3

Now go Back Inside to the Interior Side of window

6.     With the screen panel and upper glass panel removed, lower interior glass to a position above the bottom of master frame so you can grasp both the top and bottom edge of frame.  Apply pressure to left hand side and swing right hand side of panel inward.  Release pressure of left hand side and remove outward the same as previous panels.

7.     When reinstalling proceed in the opposite order to which they were removed.  IE:  Interior movable glass panel. (place into inside track)  Upper glass panel (Place in outer track and push to full up position. Screen Panel (Place in outer track)

Note:  With the movable interior glass panel in the lowest position (Resting on master frame sill) Apply pressure downward on the lower frame of the upper glass panel to seat the screen panel into position on the sill of the master frame.
