The bottom of the sash frame has a slotted plastic bar with high lubricity that rides on a sill rail. It's as simple as that! Smooth easy gliding action, trouble free, good seal and long life.

This glide system works in all of our COMPACT FRAMES with #355, single glass channels or with the new glass channel (#353) which is designed for 5/8" insulated glass.

#755 Power Routing Tool for cam locks works on the new 5/8" glass channels.

Screen Frames can be made to use in Glide Sliders with an adapter for the bottom of the screen frame.

Life expectancy is estimated to be in excess of 750,000 cycles of back-and-forth wear action, the kind of heavy use needed for serving windows, ticket windows, etc.
